Medications

Having taught in the faculty of pharmacy for many years, I teach my clients to learn the side effects of their prescription as well as over the counter medications.
Every medication have a primary [desirable] and secondary[undesirable side effect].
In some cases the risk of using medication like VIOXX as an anti inflammatory outweigh the benefit. The drug was banned by FDA. Similar drugs like Celebrex [Cox II inhibitor] are still being used. There are lots of herbal remedies with high degree of efficacy and minimal side effects that can be used instead of these medications.
If you must use prescription or over the counter medications, ask your doctor and your pharmacist for possible side effects. Follow their advice and see if there is any possible drug drug interaction or drug and supplement interaction.
